Learning and resources

The JQTH project offers exciting opportunities to get to know more about the fascinating history of the area, the buildings and their occupants and how to maintain these important properties.

Alabaster & Wilson

Virtual Reality Tour

Scantech Digital have used the latest camera technology to create this new interactive experience.  Navigate the Grade II* building and learn about the different elements of a factory which made bespoke, handcrafted jewellery for clients including the royal family.

Maintenance Matters

Inspection, maintenance and repair carried out on a regular basis will safeguard the condition of a building, and avoid the development of major faults that are likely to be expensive to remedy.

From September 2019 we will be running guided tours of the JQTH area for primary and secondary schools. Ideal for students who are studying local history at KS1, KS2 and KS3.

Colleges and universities

We offer bespoke workshops and tours of the Jewellery Quarter for college and university groups, including conservation training sessions and tours focusing on urban regeneration. Get in touch with the team to discuss your requirements.

We can offer free training days, tours and workshops for your team. Suitable for organisations based in the Jewellery Quarter who are interested in finding out more about the heritage of area, those who work in the built environment sector and would like to develop staff skills and team building sessions and away days!
