There are lots of different ways to get involved as a volunteer on a flexible and ad hoc basis to support local cultural organisations and charities. We are building a network of amazing people who can assist at events, carry out research and help to document, preserve and care for the heritage of the area.
As a member of the JQ Heritage Squad, in exchange for a little of your time you can:
- Boost your CV, gain access to training and new experiences at different heritage attractions
- Have fun, learn new things, meet people and enjoy social opportunities
- Share your skills and support the work of local charities to help them achieve more

Outdoor ConservationOur green spaces in the Jewellery Quarter need some TLC to keep them looking their best all year round.
Heritage Blogging and PhotographersThe heritage squad are looking for creative photographers and writers to help us promote and share the inspiring heritage of the Jewellery Quarter and work that is being carried out by the projects.
EventsHelp Jewellery Quarter venues with delivering many different activities and events, which will happen at various locations.
