Working with the Alabaster family, previous company employees and the JQTH team, Scantech Digital have used the latest camera and laser technology to create this new interactive experience, allowing users to explore the space in vivid detail. Launching during Birmingham Heritage Week 2019, the tour of Alabaster & Wilson will be available alongside other local historic buildings including Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Roundhouse.

As well as being able to navigate this late 19th century building without even leaving the house, users will be able to learn about the different elements of a factory which made bespoke, handcrafted jewellery for clients including the royal family. A Grade II* building, it is highly regarded by Historic England as a ‘very significant and legible example of the distinctive industrial architecture of this late 19th century manufacturing quarter of Birmingham’.

We’ll be sharing the full tour soon but for now you can check out the photo gallery for a sneak peak of what’s to come!
