The Big Peg is a prominent landmark in the Jewellery Quarter. It is an eight storey, ‘flatted’ factory built to house small firms, which were displaced by the demolition of converted houses and old factories in the immediate area.

It later attracted a wider variety of uses, including cafes, restaurants, offices and it is said that the band ‘Pop Will Eat Itself’ rehearsed here!
